It is still a simple wooden boat and you can relive the pilgrimage of the Heian period. Departed from the riverbed near Road Station "Dorokyo Gorge Kaido Kumano-gawa River", the boat tour takes about 90 minutes to Gongen-gawara which is near the Kumano Hayatama Taisha Grand Shrine.
